Size
Ideally,
dogs, 13-15 1/2 pounds, bitches, 11 1/2-14 pounds. Color: Red,
grizzle and tan, blue and tan or wheaten. A small amount of white is
allowed on the chest. |

Requirements: Border
Terriers are active dogs and need a fenced yard with enough room to
run and exercise hard. They need to be on a leash when out of the
yard. Weekly brushing, to control moderate shedding, and bi-yearly
stripping of the coat is required. |
 | Temperament:
Tough and
bold in the field; devoted and obedient at home. Border Terriers
make good family pets. They are good with children and love to play.
They learn quickly and are easy to train. |
