Ideally, mature
males should be at least 28 inches at the withers and mature bitches
at least 26 inches at the withers.

Requirements: Borzoi require a well-fenced yard with lots of room to run and play.
Plenty of exercise is necessary to
keep them in good physical shape. As with most sighthounds, Borzoi should not be
allowed
off-leash outside of their yard. They require bi-weekly brushing and
occasional bathing to
control moderate shedding. |
 | Temperament:
Borzois are
quiet, calm dogs in the house. They are devoted to their owners, but
they can be stubborn at times. They are good with children who are
gentle with them. |
