AKC Height: Ideally, 18 to 20 inches.  Color: Only solid colors and sable are acceptable.  The following colors are disqualifications: Albino; Not a solid color, i.e.: Brindle; Parti-colored; Spotted; Patterned in any combination of colors

Basic Requirements: Chinese Shar-Pei need an average-sized yard in which to exercise. Early socialization and training is important. Weekly brushing is enough to control minor shedding.

Temperament: Can be reserved with strangers. Devoted and loving to their family. An intelligent breed, they learn quickly.

Health: (Health Dictionary Average lifespan is 10 years. Watch for allergies, Entropian, Ectropian, Amyloidosis, Retinal Dysplasia, Hypothyroidism, Hip/Elbow Dysplasia, Luxated Patellar, Cancer
