AKC Height: Ideally 10 or 11 inches at shoulder for dogs, bitches slightly smaller. Color: All colors equally acceptable with or without dark tips to ears and beard.

Basic Requirements: Lhasa Apsos need a moderate-sized yard in which to play. With daily walks, they make good dogs for smaller homes and apartments.

Temperament Gay and assertive, but cautious with strangers. Can be stubborn at times.

Health: (Health Dictionary click here) Average lifespan is 15 years. Health problems can include hereditary eye disorders, hip dysplasia, kidney disease, and skin problems.
