Basic Requirements: Schipperkes are curious, active dogs that require room to run and play. Weekly brushing and occasional bathing will help to control moderate shedding.

Temperament: Schipperkes enjoy human companionship and are good family pets. They can be protective and will bark if a stranger comes to the door. Early socialization and training is important.
