AKC Height: Ideally from nine to ten inches. Color: Blue and tan.

Basic Requirements: Silky Terriers do well in smaller homes or apartments provided they have a moderate amount of room to run and play. They do require a good amount of grooming time; daily brushing is necessary to help prevent tangles. Occasional bathing, blow-drying and trimming is also necessary.

Temperament: Silky Terriers are alert, lively dogs. that love to play. They are best with older children. Silkys will bark an alert if a stranger comes to the door.
