I
received my belly bands this afternoon and right away I was impressed by
how pretty they look and how soft they feel. So I tried them on
Fred (our little 15 years old Bichon) and he didn't mind wearing them at
all. I think he liked them 'cause they fit so well and are so soft. I
tried the bands with elastics in the past and he refused to walk with
one on and I couldn't bring myself to make him wear them because he
looked so uncomfortable in them, but not with yours. I think it might be 'cause they're so soft and
gentle on his skin. Plus he looks so cute in them too. Fred tested the
absorbency of the band last night, and it worked like a charm. My carpet
was dry, his skin and fur stayed dry, and the only thing wet was the
band...it absorbed it all and there was no mess whatsoever! I
love them! They're wonderful! Thank

..... We offer two types of belly bands: .. regular
belly bands .. The 4-layer washable pad and leak-guard liner shown on right is permanently sewn into the center of Super bands. .. Regular Belly Bands: Regular belly bands have an attractive top quality cotton fabric outside (your choice of colors and patterns) and the softest, gentlest, breathable anti-pill fleece (that washes up soft and fluffy) inside next to your dog's hair and skin. We combine fleece and cotton, because although fleece is the best material to provide airflow, keep dogs dry and provide softness and comfort, it is too stretchy when used by itself. Cotton adds the perfect compliment, so we combine the highest quality of both materials working together for the best belly bands available. All seams are securely stitched inside and out. Our bands have Velcro fasteners placed lengthwise for an adjustable fit and easy on - easy off, and they don't have any exposed sticky Velcro. Simply place an inexpensive, disposable maxi-pad or poise pad onto the center of the band to quickly wick away urine and provide odor protection, and change as needed. All of our belly bands are machine washable and dryable. Regular belly bands are great for small breed dogs with waists 15" or under. . Super Belly Bands: For maximum absorbency, Super Band is the band for your dog. They work great for heavier markers, longer-waisted dogs like Dachshunds or big dogs. These bands are made in the same manner as our regular bands with the same high-quality materials, but they have a thin yet very absorbent five-layer "leak-guard" center pad sewn into the band. The entire band is machine washable. Super Belly Bands can be used with or without a disposable maxi pad; however, to keep the band clean longer, or for those heavy wetters, we recommend a disposable maxi-pad or poise pad to quickly wick away urine and provide odor protection. The absorbent, built-in Super band pad catches any overflow. Super Belly Bands resist rolling or bunching, especially for larger dogs that need wider bands, thanks to the internal pad. ...Our belly bands are for Boys only at this time... To Measure Waist Size:
Wrap a measuring tape comfortably around your dog's
belly.
Do not pull tight!
Measure the widest part of the belly just before his ribs start
and the narrowest part of his belly just in front of his hind legs. (see
photo) The
average of these measurements is your dog's waist size. This difference
varies between breeds. Choose this average waist measurement in the drop-down “Waist Size” box when you order.
Do not size up. Our belly bands allow room for adjustment with strong velcro closures. Tip: If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string to measure your dog's waist. Carefully place the string around your dog's belly, then measure the string length with a ruler. Hint: A dollar bill measures about 6” and can be used in a pinch.
