Height: Males 27 - 30"; Bitches 26 - 29" Color: Black or black with a few gray hairs

Basic Requirements: Black Russian Terriers enjoy being around their owners. They need daily exercise in a securely fenced yard.. Bi-weekly brushing and occasional bathing will help keep the coat clean and tangle free.

Temperament: Calm and brave. May be aloof with strangers. These are intelligent dogs that were originally used as guard dogs. Early obedience training is important.

Health: (Health Dictionary click here) Average lifespan is 11 years. Watch for Hip Dysplasia
