Basic Requirements: Early socialization is important. Field Spaniels are an active breed and require an average-sized fenced yard with room to run and play. They enjoy playing with their owners. Weekly brushing will help to control moderate shedding.

Temperament: Field Spaniels are happy, good-natured dogs that want to please. They train readily and make good family pets. They are alert and will bark if a stranger comes to the door.
