Quote
From an Owner:
Cavaliers were bred for centuries for one purpose - to love and be
loved. They have been companions to many kings of England and have
been called “The Royal Dog.” They are still a sporty little dog
and love to chase "critters," fetch a ball and just plain
run around. They get along well with other animals, and are great
with children that are old enough to treat them gently. They love
visitors. There are no
strangers to a Cavalier.
Cavaliers
are very adaptable to their owners' life styles. If you are
energetic and like to jog, walk, etc, then the Cavaliers like it too.
If you are a couch potato and like to read, watch TV, etc, then they
like that also. They are happiest curled up in a lap.
Cavaliers
have a moderate coat with nice leg, ear and tail feathering, and are
easy to maintain with a weekly brushing.
