Quote
from an Owner
Although the Papillon is a toy breed, he is not fragile, as
some people would believe. Papillons are sturdy, solid little dogs.
They are equally at home in an apartment or on the farm. Potential
owners should ask to see the sire and dam, and ask questions about
how the pups are raised. Papillons should have early socialization,
which means introductions to children if there are none in the home,
as well as to strangers. They make good family pets.
