Height: Ideally, Males are 53 cm and bitches 49 cm. Black, brown, and orange with white markings.

Basic Requirements: Weekly brushing will help to control moderate shedding. Stabyhounds are hunting dogs that need daily exercise. Due to their independent nature, early obedience training is recommended.

Temperament: Stabyhounds enjoy human companionship and make good house dogs. They typically get along well with children.

Health (Health Dictionary click here) Average lifespan is 13 years. Watch for hip dysplasia, eye disorders and epilepsy, although health problems are rare.
