AKC Height: Ideally, around 10".  Color: All colors or mixtures of colors.

Basic Requirements: Tibetan Spaniels are well suited to smaller homes or apartments provided they receive a moderate amount of daily exercise.  Weekly brushing and occasional bathing will help to control minor shedding.

 

Temperament: Tibetan Spaniels are often reserved around strangers. Early socialization is important. They are loyal and very affectionate to their family. They are good with children when raised with them; however, they may not be good with children if they are not used to them. They will bark if a stranger approaches the home.

 

Health (Health Dictionary click here) Average age is 13 years. Watch for allergies, cherry eye, PRA, liver shunt, hip/elbow dysplasia
